William D. Wombacher, (Associate)

Bill WombacherBill Wombacher joined Porzak Browning and Bushong LLP as an associate in January 2011, after clerking with the firm since September 2010. His practice focuses on water rights & quality, land use, environmental law, and litigation.

Mr. Wombacher graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 2010. While at CU, he served as the Lead Notes and Comments Editor for the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law & Policy as well as research assistant for David Getches and Mark Squillace. He also served as law clerk for Lyons, Gaddis, Kahn & Hall P.C., the United States Department of Agriculture Office of General Counsel, and the Colorado Office of the Attorney General. Prior to law school, Mr. Wombacher earned a B.S. and M.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa. While at Iowa, he worked as a drinking water treatment plant operator for nearly three years and was a member of the Dean’s list.

Admitted to the Colorado bar in 2010.
