Cassidy L. Woodard, (Associate)

Karen L. HendersonCassidy joined Porzak Browning and Bushong LLP as an associate in September 2017. Prior to joining the firm, she served as the law clerk for The Honorable James F. Hartmann, Water Judge in the Division One Water Court and Chief Judge of the 19th Judicial District. Her practice focuses on water rights.

Cassidy received her J.D. from the Texas Tech University School of Law and her LL.M. in Natural Resources, Energy, and the Environment from the University of Colorado School of Law. While at Texas Tech, Cassidy served as the Student Writing Editor of the Texas Tech Law Review and on the Editorial Board for the Texas Bank Lawyer. During her time at CU Law, she worked as a Research Assistant for the Western Water Policy Program at the Getches-Wilkinson Center.

Prior to law school, Cassidy earned her B.S.B.A. in International Business with minors in Leadership Studies and Italian from the University of Denver. A fifth-generation Colorado native, Cassidy grew up on a Limousin and Lim-Flex cow-calf operation in east-central Colorado. Outside of work, you can find her spending time on the family ranches, reading historical fiction novels, and cheering on the Denver Broncos.

Admitted to the Colorado bar in 2015.
